{"id":25168,"date":"2021-10-14T08:56:21","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T08:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stage.oar.archi\/?page_id=25168"},"modified":"2021-11-30T06:53:51","modified_gmt":"2021-11-30T06:53:51","slug":"about-the-right-of-signature","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oar.archi\/en\/exercitarea-profesiei\/dreptul-de-semnatura\/about-the-right-of-signature\/","title":{"rendered":"About the right of signature"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Being a certified architect involves responsibility and professional accountability to the built environment, to the public authorities, to the client and the society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A certified architect is independent in her\/his professional decisions, follows the code of ethics and the standards of professional conduct, promotes the cultural, architectural, and social values inherent to an independent practice, has a critical perspective and adopts an active attitude towards improving the quality of the built environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The certification is granted by the Romanian Order of Architects, following an interview during which professional knowledge, skills and experience are assessed. The appraisal is carried out by a committee of certified architects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a certified architect, this brings along a series of interrelated rights and obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The rights of a certified architect<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She\/He can design projects for the execution of which a building permit is required by the law.<\/li><li>She\/He can verify during the execution of works whether they are compliant or not with the building permit issued, even if she\/he is not in charge with the technical assistance.<\/li><li>She\/He will get a fair rate for the services provided, matching the value, necessary time put in, and responsibility she\/he has towards the project; the fee is freely negotiated with the client.<\/li><li>She\/He can become general designer and hire employees.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The obligations of a certified architect<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>She\/He knows and complies with the legal regulations in force related to the practice of architecture.<\/li><li>She\/He follows the Professional Code of Ethics and the Regulation of the Romanian Order of Architects.<\/li><li>She\/He informs the client on the obligation of obtaining and respecting the necessary opinions, validations and permits, as stipulated by the law.<\/li><li>She\/He is continuing her\/his professional development.<\/li><li>She\/He is accountable to the client and to the authorities.<\/li><li>She\/He serves the client\u2019s interests in line with the public interest and with the professional standards. <\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Being a certified architect involves responsibility and professional accountability to the built environment, to the public authorities, to the client&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":25170,"menu_order":1,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"views\/template-article.blade.php","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-25168","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
