COMPETITION RESULTS STATEMENT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The National Museum of Romanian History in Bucharest organized on Friday, 1st of July, a press conference in order to announce the winners of the \u201dNew spatial design concept of the National Museum of Romanian History in Bucharest\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury decided to award the prizes as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n 1st Place \/\/ 30.000 \u20ac \/\/ STARH \u2013 ARHITECTUR\u0102, CONSTRUC\u021aII, DESIGN SRL <\/div>\n\n

\n 2nd Place \/\/ 20.000 \u20ac \/\/ Sergio Walter Mart\u00ednez Nieto representing AWA-A <\/div>\n\n
\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/a>\n \n \n

\n 3rd Place \/\/ 10.000 \u20ac \/\/ S.C. STUDIO EST & PARTNERS S.R.L. <\/div>\n\n

The Romanian Chamber of Architects wishes to congratulate all participants at this competition but first of all the authors of the winning projects! As the persident of the jury arch. Rainer Mahlam\u00e4ki stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally, I wish all well for this project.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that further design is quickly launched and I hope that all financial issues are solved and that you, the people of Bucharest and Romania, take this as your own project and cherish it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Exhibition with all the participant projects will be public starting from the 5th of July at the National Museum of Romanian History main headquarters, 12 Calea Victoriei, Bucharest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who will not be able to visit the exhibition all participant projects will be available on the Romanian Chamber of Architects\u2019 website, starting from Monday, the 4th of July. The link towards the Project Gallery can be found at the end of this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the Romanian Chamber of Architects states the following regarding the final winner of the New MNIR International Competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After opening the sealed envelopes, the eligibility and compatibility conditions were verified for all projects. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to have a proper and transparent contract assignment procedure the Organiser and the Promoter have requested a position from the National Public Procurement Agency (ANAP) concerning the first prize winner, who may be suspected of incompatibility. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the contest took place under the auspices of the International Union of Architects (UIA), a position on the matter was requested from the International Competitions Comission of UIA (UIA-ICC), who declared that given the competition regulations there is no reason to exclude the first prize winner.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The position of the National Public Procurement Agency (ANAP) is essential for a legal and transparent procedure thus no contracting procedures will be started untill it is recieved.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
